Morris Minor Summer Meet 2026 Borås, Sweden

Nordic Morris Minor Club and Morris Minor Club Sweden welcome all Morris friends to this year’s joint summer gathering! Borås is a medium-sized city at the heart of what was Sweden’s textile centre. From Borås and the surrounding area came many of the “merchants” who usually on foot/bicycle sold fabrics and household utensils all over Sweden.

Location: Borås Camping
Information about accommodation at the campsite: There are a total of 52 cottages for rent and a hostel. We have reserved 24 cottages (Elefantstugorna) and 42 campsites with mains outlets. The campsites are in close proximity to the cottages. Accommodation can be booked by contacting the campsite by e-mail and entering the following code: MORRIS26
The reservation alternative is valid until 2026-03-31. Bookings thereafter are made through the campsite’s regular booking system.

Program
The program for the meeting will be as before, with a joint barbecue on Friday evening at the same time as the meeting opens.
Saturday will include photography at the campsite and a joint car ride to a mini train facility https://bmas.se/ where everyone has the opportunity to take a ride on the train and get, among other things, coffee and cake. The cost of this is included in the participation fee. NMMK members can use the time at the train station to vote in the usual way.
Saturday ends with a joint dinner buffet and award ceremony. It will be held at the campsite in a large furnished tent that will be available to participants from Thursday.
As before, Hjo Mathantverk is responsible for the buffet and those who attended the meetings in Hjo know that he maintains good quality and variety. Please report any allergies already in the registration!
